If you can't annoy somebody, there is little point in writing – Kingsley Amis

Whorely was spotted at Will Rogers National Park on Sunday taking his sprog for a leisurely stroll and accompanied by his most fayvrit and fab-ew-luss MIL.  Whorely appeared to be enjoying the sunshine and mumsy-in-law seemed to be enjoying the attention from the paparazzi (the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, it seems).  I’ve also heard it said that if a bloke wants to see what his wife will look like when she’s older, he just needs to check out his mother-in-law.  Whorely should be afraid.  Very, very afraid.

Then just today some photos were released of another new Aussie mum and her newborn.

The sets of photos got me thinking that perhaps it’s time to play another round of our fun game – Spot the Difference.

So let’s compare the photos, shall we?

We’ll start with Whorely and baby Will, ummm, Fling, errmmmm sorry, I mean Flynn.  You can thank me later for cropping out mumsy-in-law.

Here we have Whorely and his cute little, squirmy, squooshy, sprog, Flynn which means son of a red haired man.

And here we have…..

proud new mum Kriba with her 10 day old baby girl Kripenzi which means Precious One in Swahili.

So let’s start with the differences, okay?

The subjects of the photos are two different species.  Though I’m positive gorillas are far more intelligent than some people I know.

Whorely is slightly less hairy than Kriba.

And he has slightly smaller boobs than her as well.

Kriba didn’t need her mother-in-law to accompany her on her first outing with her baby.

I’m fairly sure Kriba didn’t call the paparazzi to capture this very special moment for posterity.

There’s also one very spooky similarity (apart from the fact that I’m unable to see the face of either baby in these photos).  According to this article, Kripenzi’s daddy Kibabu (aged 33) will soon be retiring to New Zealand.  And apparently, if the rumours of Whorely’s character Legolas appearing in The Hobbit are true, Whorely (aged 34) is off to New Zealand as well!

Any other differences or similarities you’d like to add to the mix?  Feel free to share!

  1. Uh oh, that’s hard.
I would say that Kriba was more thoughtful in choosing a name for her little girl.
She’s not trying to impress the world with a fake breast feeding pic.
And I’m sure if a pap would stick a lense in the babys face she would rip him in pieces and THEN she would smile. 😉

    • she would rip him in pieces and THEN she would smile

Hahhaa! And she’d do it without the benefit of a full face of make up!

  2. I like gorillas. Really.

    • Did you see the gorilla from Kent (of all places!) Zoo who walks upright? It was on the news a few days ago. He was cool!
